Parole Packet Workshop
With over eight years of research into writing parole packets, A.I.S. has designed two workshops. One is taught to offenders within the prisons (currently only offered at the Huntsville Unit); and the other is available to the friends and families of offenders in the Free World.
These workshops are designed teach people the ins and outs of parole packets. We cover
- What is a parole packet?
- Frequently asked questions
- What not to do when writing a parole packet
- What you should do when writing a parole packet
- Step-by-step how to write
- Parole Packets
- Support Letters
- Letters to the Board (from the offender)
- Employment Letters
- Question and Answer portion
- And more
All attendees are provided with handouts and a sample parole packet to use as a guide. Even if you are not going to write a parole packet yourself, and you are thinking about hiring someone, this workshop will show you what to look for in a parole packet provider and teach you what questions to ask before you hire someone.
